Today’s I.C.E.C. was all about British English. First we discussed the differences between British English and American English, pronunciation, grammar, spelling and vocabulary. Next we looked at the differences between spoken and written English within England. Everyone was surprised to learn that there are over 31 different dialects within England and to see the different vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar between the North, South, East and West of England.
