Today in Class 1 we enjoyed getting to know everyone and playing games together. It was their first time together as a group, but even though a few children were shy, they were able to have lots of fun. We pretended to be different animals and went on a scavenger hunt to find the teachers. The children were able to name a number of different animals and enjoyed acting them out as a group. After morning meeting we practiced our ABC’s and talked about how we felt. Everyone was able to act out the different emotions and express themselves. The children got along great and had fun learning about the school and their classmates. It was a new environment for most of them, but they did a wonderful job today. We can’t wait to continue where we left off next month.
