Today, Class 1, 2, 4, and 7 came together to have an immersion shopping day. Each class had two shops, and the children made the shopping items all by themselves. We took turns being the shopkeeper and the shopper, so everyone could see all of the different shops. The shoppers were paired with a student from a different class, so we could spend time playing and having fun with everyone. It was so much fun inviting the other classes to come to buy something from the shops, and the shoppers enjoyed walking around to each class to see all the cool items and decorations other classes had made. The children even had to use their IYK dollars to buy each item. It was a tiring activity, and all the children were hungry and ready for lunch afterward. We are looking forward to the next immersion day so we can do even more together.
