Today was the Opening Ceremony for Koala Class. All of the children came to the kindergarten with a big smile, and it was wonderful to meet everyone. After playing together for a while we cleaned up the toys and began the morning meeting. We were very happy to see that the children could follow along and enjoyed doing various activities in English together. Many could say, “I’m here!” when they heard their name, and put their marks on the I’m Here board. After getting their sticker books, we did a short English activity, and everyone said they were happy while hitting the tambourine. After meeting all the teachers we had a goodbye meeting and said goodbye to everyone until next week. It was great to see so many smiling children and parents, and we look forward to having lots of fun using English in Koala Class this year!
