Class 1 had a fun first day of kindergarten today! In phonics time we met the ABC train and sang the ABC song together! We also learned 4 words that start with the letter “a”. During the Morning Meeting we sang the morning song together and then the children got beautiful butterfly stickers for their sticker books! Then we saw which friends came to the kindergarten today and the children practiced saying, “I’m here!” in a big voice and hit a tambourine. During physical time everyone did a great job jumping off a step and stretching to hit the tambourine! At the end of the day, we read a book about a little white fish looking for his mommy and then said goodbye to our Class 1 friends during the goodbye meeting before going home. The children did a great job on their first day of kindergarten! See you tomorrow!
