Today in Koala we planted tomatoes! We started the day with outside play in the sandbox. The children seemed to enjoy digging and exploring our sandbox for the first time. After that, the children planted tomato seedlings in the garden. They helped put them in the hole and cover them with soil. We used our magic word, “grow, grow, grow” when finished. It was such a beautiful day to be outside! Later in the classroom, we had fun in English with animals. In the afternoon we did fingerpainting that we can turn into elephants. The children had fun mixing light blue and pink on the paper. Friday was so much fun!
