Class 1 had lots of fun today. It was our first swimming lesson, and everyone did such a fantastic job. After cleaning up, we sat in a circle with our pool bags, and everyone was able to follow instructions to get ready. We started with taking off our shoes, and all the way to carrying our bags downstairs and rolling up our towels. A few friends were a bit nervous about going in the pool, but once we started, everyone had fun splashing and walking in the water. At the end, we put on water wings and floated around with the teachers’ help. All of the children did a great job getting dressed by themselves as well. When we got back to the classroom, it was time for World Lunch. Today was the USA, and everyone enjoyed their yummy hamburgers. After cleaning up and brushing our teeth, we had a bit more Discovery Time before it was time to say goodbye to everyone! See you tomorrow, Class 1!
