Today was the first day of Class 1! Everyone arrived safely at the classroom and put away their jackets and bags. Some children were a little nervous today, but once we got started, everyone had fun. Today was a short day, so we started at the beginning with kindergarten rules and routines like washing hands and gargling. We also got to do the Junior exercise with Classes 2 and 3, which everyone enjoyed. We had our very first Morning Meeting, saying the weather and date, and everyone could ask for different stickers very nicely. When we did roll call, everyone said, “I’m here!” with a big voice. After singing the ABC song it was time for a story and finally the Goodbye Meeting. All the children were very happy to see their Mommies again, and we can’t wait to see everyone again tomorrow! Great day Class 1!
