2025.04.28April Birthday Party!
Today was the birthday party for the children (and teachers) born in April. This was our first party of the year, and some friends were a little nervous, but everyone did a fantastic job! After sitting down in front of everyone, all of the children could answer to “What’s your name?” and “How old are you?” as well as new questions for each grade. Next, the big birthday cake came out and the birthday children got candles to decorate it with. Next, it was time to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ and give three cheers! After receiving their presents made by their classmates, everyone sat down for the teacher’s play. This month was “The Little Red Hen.” Hard working Chicken needed help to grow wheat and make a cake, but the other farm animals did not help. Luckily, all of the children at IYK could lend a hand digging, cutting, and mixing to make a yummy birthday cake that Chicken shared with everyone. Congratulations to all of April’s birthday friends and thank you to the parents who came to watch today! -
