• 2024.04.19Today’s Class 5

  

  Today in Class 5 we had a Friday full of fun. The children could enjoy their first music lesson as intermediates. Today, they were introduced to the melodeon. They could practice playing it for the first time and played along to the rhythm of “Mickey Mouse March”. After that we had Japanese writing practice followed by yummy, yummy lunch boxes for lunch. Great job today and all week, everyone. See you all on Monday. Please have a great weekend and be safe.

• 2024.04.18Today’s Class 4

  

  Today in Class 4 we had so much fun! We had our first English Activity and practiced saying how we feel. Everyone had a blast playing with Happy Cat and his friends. We also made our first craft! We made some super cool fish that can flutter in the wind. Everyone was hungry for our first school lunch together and the curry rice was so delicious. It was such a fun day of firsts in Class 4! I can’t wait to find out what our next craft will be!

• 2024.04.17Class 3 today

  

  Class 3 had lots of fun today. After arriving and putting away their bags, the children enjoyed Discovery Time together, then did a great job cleaning up by themselves. We sat down in a big half circle and had our Morning Meeting. Everyone could get stickers for their sticker books. Next, there was a present from Charlie the teddy bear, sketchbooks! The children used their crayons to draw in their sketchbooks and make lots of cute and colorful pictures. Soon it was time for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their yummy packed lunches. Thank you to the Mommies and Daddies for making such nice lunches. After cleaning up, it was time for a story book and finally the Goodbye Meeting. What a fun day we had. See you tomorrow, everyone!

• 2024.04.16Today`s Class 2

  

  Today was so much fun in Class 2! First, we had Phonics Time by singing the ABC song. Then we had Morning Meeting and practiced speaking and answering questions about the day in English. We practiced taking attendance in English and celebrated with a tambourine. After that, we opened our present together and received our new crayons. We colored donuts with our crayons and learned new words in English. Everyone did a great job today!

• 2024.04.15Today’s Class 1

  

  Today was the first day for Class 1. Everyone was a little nervous at the start, but we all ended up having a lot of fun! To start off, we learned the fun exercise dance. After our dance, we sang the ABC song when our ABC train board pulled into station. Then, we had our morning meeting and got cute rabbit stickers in our stickerbooks! We wanted to get up and start moving around, so we had fun jumping and doing physical activities. And before we said goodbye to our friends for the day, we read Spot Bakes a Cake. Good job everyone, let’s have lots of fun this year!

• 2024.04.13入園式

  

  今日は、令和６年度の入園式が行われました。初めての環境にちょっぴり緊張した様子のお子さまや、ニコニコ笑顔のお子さまと、一人ひとりいろいろな表情が見られました。登園するとまずは自分のクラスへ行ってEnglish Teacherに名札をつけてもらいました。お部屋のBirthday boardの自分の名前を探したり、お母さまやお父さまと一緒にトイレを見に行ってみたりと、自分が過ごす場所を探検する様子も見られました。そして、１０時になると１階のお部屋で入園式が始まりました。副園長先生や担任の先生の紹介が終わると、楽しいEnglish Playがスタート！rabbitやbear、penguinなど動物が出てくると興味津々で見入っていましたよ。キラキラのBoxが開かない時には、みんなで「Let’s open!」と大きな掛け声をかけてくれましたね。最後はクラス毎に集合写真を撮って入園式は終了しました。月曜日からは保護者の方から離れていよいよ一人で登園するお子さま達。みなさんが幼稚園に来るのを、先生達みんなで楽しみに待っています！元気に登園してきてくださいね！　

• 2024.04.12Opening Ceremony

  

  いよいよ令和６年度がスタートし、「先生は誰かな？」「どこのお部屋かな？」と期待をもって登園してきたお子さま達。新しい靴箱と新しいコート掛けを見つけて身の回りの始末を終え、自分のクラスへ行くと、担任の先生が出迎えてくれ、ピカピカの名札をつけてくれました。そして、１０時半から始まった始業式では、背筋を伸ばして副園長先生のお話をどのお子さまもしっかりと聞いていました。全クラスの担任の先生が発表されると、「新しい先生がいっぱいだ！」と嬉しそうに見ていましたよ。また、新しく転入してきたお子さまも２人紹介され、最後は、大好きなSchool songを歌って始業式が終わりました。クラスに戻ってからは、スモックや紅白帽子をしまって荷物整理をしたり、新しい担任の先生からの話を聞いたりと、クラスの友達や先生との時間を過ごしました。ピカピカのSticker bookをもらい大喜びの様子も見られましたよ。みなさん、今年度も毎日元気に登園してきてくださいね！

• 2024.03.11修了式

  

  　今日は３学期の修了式でした。昨日卒園式を迎えた年長さんがいない幼稚園は、少し寂しい感じがしましたが、年少さんと年中さんのお子さま達は４月からひとつ大きな学年になることを楽しみにしている様子が見られました。１年間、色々な経験を通して様々な面で成長したお子さま達。新しい学年でも素敵なお兄さん、お姉さんで頑張ってくださいね。４月にまた元気に皆さんに会えることを楽しみにしています。

• 2024.03.10第59回卒園式

  

  今日は年長組のお子さま達の卒園式がありました。登園から、「今日は頑張るぞ！」と意気込んでいたり、「ママ達に見せるの楽しみだな！」と期待を高め、笑顔いっぱいだったお子さま達。入場の時間になると、表情は真剣そのもの。背筋をピンと伸ばして行進する姿に成長を感じました。
  Class 7は、卒園への寂しさを感じながらも、最後まで堂々とした姿を見せてくれました。
  Class 8は、やる気溢れる表情で、元気いっぱい式に参加してくれました。
  Class 9は、最後にお父さまやお母さまに素敵な姿を見せたいという意欲をもって、素敵な姿を見せてくれました。
  卒園の歌や言葉も、元気いっぱいに見せてくれた、お子さま達の堂々とした姿に感動するとても素敵な卒園式でしたね！年長組の皆さん、小学校に行っても、幼稚園で学んだ色々なことを胸に、色々なことに挑戦してくださいね！ご卒園、おめでとうございます。

• 2024.03.08Today’s Class 5

  

  　今日は１年間使用した教室を大掃除しました。「たくさん拭いて綺麗にしよう！」と張り切り、自分のロッカーや椅子やテーブルをピカピカにしましたよ。床を拭く時間には、雑巾がけの態勢で駆け回って楽しんだり、雑巾がけレースを行って盛り上がりました！大掃除の後は、年中児としてはラストのEnglish Activityを行いました。イタリアには‟Tower of pisa”、メキシコには“Chichen Itza”があるなど、様々な国の高い建物について知ったお子さま達は、紙コップで高いタワーをつくるゲームにチャレンジ！グループに分かれて、制限時間内にどのチームが1番高く紙コップを積み上げられるか競争しました。どうしたら高さが出るかをよく考えたり、紙コップが倒れないように慎重に積み上げる姿が見られていましたよ。どのグループも上手に高いタワーをつくり上げ、大喜びのお子さま達でした。今年度も残り１日となりました。最後の１日も大好きな友達や先生方と楽しく過ごしましょうね。
